The Arizona Bicycle Club (ABC) is an organization founded in 1964, which for over 45 years has served to improve the quality of life in Arizona by supporting bicycling. Through advocacy, education, and organized rides, tours, and events, ABC emphasizes the positive effects of the bicycle in providing transportation, recreation, sportsmanship, and good health. Affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists, the Arizona Bicycle Club is effective in advocating the use of bicycles as a non-polluting means of travel, and in protecting the rights of Arizona cyclists to safely share our roads and paths with other users, and to increase the bicycle-friendliness of our state's highways and byways.

Meetings of the Board of Directors of ABC are held the first Wednesday of each month at Amerischool located at 1333 W Camelback Rd. Phoenix Az 85013. The buisness meeting begins at 7pm. We hope to see you there!

Suggest program ideas for the Board Meetings by emailing Neill@azbikeclub.org

With out the help of volunteers and the support of members, the club would cease to exist.  Email if you want to be part of the solution kristi@azbikeclub.org

This link takes you to the photos for the Wickenburg Overnight 2011.  The event was a great success! We stayed dry the entire ride! The weather scared off a few riders, but they missed perfect riding temperatures. We even had a rider fly in from Iowa, and the weather did not disappoint.

Look at that sunshine, huge shadow from a cloud and the snow on the mountains in the distance. The snow fell on the higher elevations while we slept snug in our beds. The desert is always spectacular after a good rain! In the morning the sun was brilliant.  By the time we got back to the ride's starting point, the snow was almost gone!

A project is underway to put this book online! wow it's a giant undertaking read all about it Letter from the President; Neill's Squeals
